THE MISSING QUEEN

IT’S LIKE THEY ALWAYS SAY…!

Parties!…Dancing!…Palace Intrigue! Life in the Court of Queen Elizabeth I is sooooooo dull!  And Elizabeth is bored… very, very bored. First, she tries her hand at a bit of match-making between her beloved friends, Bess and Sir Walter Raleigh, but they hate each other on sight. So Elizabeth decides it’s time for a vacation and sails off to the New World. It’s up to Bess and Walter to find England’s “Missing Queen”. In their hilarious adventures, they meet unusual creatures, solve the riddles and learn that working together (with the help of your students!) is the only way to find their wayward Queen!

CALLIOPE’S ROMEO AND JULIET

DO YOU BITE YOUR THUMB AT US, SIR?

William Shakespeare is going to start rehearsing his new play, Romeo & Juliet, and it’s time for auditions! But Queen Elizabeth I loves the theatre and has other ideas for the play.  Enough with the poison! Enough with the stabbing! And, especially, enough with the dying!   She wants a new story, and she wants it now!

Elizabeth soon takes over the entire show, and it quickly becomes a “royal” mess.  Who will play Romeo?  Who will play Juliet? Shakespeare needs the help of your students as actors, or the famous story of the “star-crossed lovers” will never be the same again!
